Troubadours have been performing in taverns since time and Signal Brewery are going to continue this age old tradition on Friday, March 31st from 7 to 9:00 pm featuring Robert Keyes, a finger style guitarist for an evening of Pub Busking. Join us for some great wood fired pizza, a beverage, music and good times at Signal Brewery!!
His unique and specialized style of playing (solo fingerstyle guitar), essentially allows him to cover a multitude of genres. These include everything from classical to jazz to country to blues and most everything in between.
He has had stints in the U.S. with Lyle Lovett and John McVie of Fleetwood Mac fame. In Canada, he has played with Holly Cole, Hagood Hardy and Guido Basso, to name a few.
Playing professionally since 1974, Robert is constantly looking for new and refreshing ways to tell a story with his guitar.
Every song he plays, he captures it's true essence but, at the same time, still allows him to make it his own.
